This tree was lifted by myself in July of 2018. I found this tree in the Mokorua Native Reserve hills behind Whakatane. I found this little tree it the base of a rocky cliff goat track, squashed upon and beaten by adverse conditions. Naturally “bonsai’d” by nature, 100% unstyled raw, the large jin hanging out of the pot is a old ground root and the larger cut trunks have been ligthly jinned. But otherwise I’ve kept everything as it was when I found it, giving the next artist full control to go down any angle for styling.
